The blog and our Travels are back!

We had originally planned to do a camping trip through northern Michigan and the U.P., but on Sunday we decided to change plans and head west and take Joy to Yellowstone and the Tetons!   Needless to say, the last few days have been a little crazy trying to get packed for the trip.  However , the truck, trailer, and Joy ( all are new since trip we took out here 6 years ago)are packed and we are ready to pull out tomorrow morning.  Here is our itinerary:

Thursday 7/10-Coldwater, MI with the Shannon's. 

Friday, 7/11- Sioux Falls, SD

Saturday , 7/12 (our 11th Anniversary) Badlands, SD

Sunday, 7/13- Cody, WY

Monday, 7/14- Fishing Bridge, Yellowstone

Tuesday, 7/15- Fishing Bridge, Yellowstone

Wednesday, 7/16- Gardiner, MT(northeast Entrance of Yellowstone)

Thursday, 7/17- Gardiner, MT (northeast entrance of Yellowstone)

Friday, 7/18- Grand Tetons

Saturday, 7/19- Grand Tetons

Sunday, 7/20- Grand Tetons

Monday, 7/21- Grand Tetons (we may start heading back on this day)

We haven't made any reservations for the Tetons yet as most of the campgrounds are first come, first serve. However, my favorite is Gros Ventre Campground which is right in the Gros Ventre River and they always have vacancies and always have piles of moose shit in your campsite.  Andrea doesn't like it because there is no electricity and no showers.
